Could We Be The Unstoppables For Crystal Ski?

Family photo with winter props

Crystal Ski are on the hunt for ambassadors and are looking for an Unstoppable family to join them next year. What a fantastic opportunity! Which left me thinking could we be the Unstoppables?

It has been a while since I last went skiing. It was pre-children. How we laugh, reminiscing about my husband taking me on "an easy red run" and finding our way onto a mogul filled black run. The "Easy Mile" that was pure ice and my husband telling me that I should slow down a bit as I went whizzing past.

I absolutely love the thrill of skiing and would cherish the chance to take the boys. Now they are bigger it is something I am sure they would enjoy. I thought I would enlist their help with ideas of what we would do on a skiing holiday.  Middle man got right to it with some sketches of what we would get up to in a day on a snow filled skiing holiday. To be honest, I am exhausted just looking at his pictures.

First up is Daddy in his skis.

This picture either represents the delight my husband feels when hurtling down a black run or my husbands desire to try cross country skiing. Either way, middle man knows that Daddy is happy in the snow, even if his advice on which slope you choose should always be questioned. Time will only tell if my husband has such a big smile of his face when he has to carry 3 extra sets of skis to the lockers.

Next up is me.

Yes, after I have finished skiing for the day, middle man expects to find me building an igloo. This is not some kind of random wish. (Oh how I wish it was!) But no, I made the mistake of building an igloo a few years ago when it snowed. To me it was a one time only event. To the boys it is what Mummy does when it snows.

If middle man gets his way, I would find myself rushing around checking everyone has the right thermals on, tiring myself out on the slopes and then relaxing by building an igloo. Inbetween I can guarantee my husband would take lots of photos of me like this.

I think we can safely say that apres ski will go out the window and if I manage to drink a glass of mulled wine before I go to bed at the same time as the boys then it will be a bonus.

Middle man is expecting big man to initiate some family snowball fights.

He probably knows him better than big man knows himself. Big man is ready to try anything and I am pretty sure he will love ski school and kids club. Infact it wouldn't be long until he was taking Mummy down the fast slopes instead of Daddy.

So how does middle man see himself?

Well he will be building a large snowman complete with carrot nose.

Middle man was so disappointed last Christmas Day when there was no snow outside for him to do this. The movies have a lot to answer too. Even Father Christmas can't sort out that wish. I can see him insisting on building his own smiling snowman before he gets his skis fitted.

And last is little man. Well he would like to go on a sledge.

Well who wouldn't!?!

I am already wondering if I could get him to sledge me back to our chalet?

So what do you think? Could we be Crystal Ski's Unstoppable family?

If they are looking for a family that will fill their holiday with so much snow filled fun that they will need a holiday when they get back to recover, then maybe we are.

Have you been skiing with your children? What's the best age to take them? Where is the best place to go? All of your tips would be gratefully received.
