Spirograph Studio Set Review

Spirograph Studio set

Big man often asks me about toys in "olden times" also known as the 1970's/1980's so I was really keen to try out the Spirograph studio set. The set is much as I remember from my childhood but with the added edition of some 3D glasses.

I enjoyed playing around with the shapes making patterns. The set comes with a special pen that has two biros attached in red and blue.

For the 3D patterns you need to use the coloured pens to make a pattern. Then pop on the 3D glasses and turn them on. I like this improvement and it keeps the Spirograph up to date. The glasses do need to be handled with care. My husband managed to pop out part of the lens just taking them off. I managed to put it back in and I am hoping my boys will not be as heavy handed, but these may not last as long as I would like.

All in all it is a nice set that will remind you of your childhood but with the 3D glasses your children will still be interested in it.

I was sent the Studio set for the purpose of the review but the opinions here are my own.

My goodness - I didn't realise this was still going, loved it as a child.

It reminds me of wet playtime at school. I'm not sure the 3D element is all that necessary really but I'd be interested to try it.

We love our set - it's a winner from ages 5-48 in this house!

I remember these from when I was a kid - very nostalgic! The addition of the 3D is a neat touch.

I would love to have a play with a spirograph again - I used to love it! Not sure about the addition of the 3D glasses though I'm sure my son would love them!
