John Lewis Christmas Advert

It's that time of year again and John Lewis have released their Christmas Advert. You can watch it below.

So what do you think? I am pretty embarrassed to say that I had to watch it twice to get it! I missed the words on the first time round and was probably too concerned as to how a bear and a hare could be friends. That and it reminded me of Watership Down which just makes me cry! However, now I have watched it again it makes a lot more sense. It really is one of those days! And as I will let my scientific brain happily allow a penguin and polar bear work together in an Octopod, I will embrace that a hare would give a bear an alarm clock for Christmas.

So what do you think? Is it another great Christmas ad from John Lewis?

I love it!! But I always love the John Lewis Christmas adverts, even if they do tend to make me weepy! I especially like when the baby fox opens his present and plays with the paper ;D x

It's cute but I don't think it's very Christmassy. I like Lily singing the Keane track, though.

Ahhhh that is who sings it! That has been bugging me all day!

This is wonderful but brought a tear to my eye! Reminded me of Watership Down - which still makes me cry!

Yey it's not just me!

Can't see the relevance to John Lewis. Bit long, really.

I love it. The animation is adorable and (spoiler alert! ;-) ) the bit when the bear arrives was really moving. Another classic from John Lewis!

Very clever ad - I love how you get absorbed in its mini storyline. I like the M&S Alice in Wonderland ad too - it had to be a good one after their publicity of paying all those celebs for not a lot in their last ad!

Oh I haven't seen that one yet
