Having 3 boys means that parties seem to be centered around pirates, star wars and fire engines. My little men love any excuse for a party, so when my Mother in law said she would visit on her Birthday I decided to throw her a Madhatter's Tea Party. Decorations were simple to make and lots of fun. Big man was very pleased with the sweet watches and was forever eating them.
You can't have a tea party without cake, so I made eat me cup cakes with butterflies, stopwatch cupcakes using chocolate discs, and a really simple birthday cake with Cadbury's fingers, Malteasers, marshmallows and strawberry sweets
We had a box of hats and a picture frame so we could have fun taking photos.
Pass the parcel had a tea towel inside, and might have been slightly fixed so that only the boys and my mother in law opened it.
If you are thinking of throwing a party, I definitely recommend a Madhatter's tea party as it is really easy and fun too. Have you got any great ideas for a party?
