Lazy Town Fit Fruits Review

Big man likes to be fit and healthy, so when we were sent the new Lazy Town Fit Fruits cartons and Super Squashes to trial he was happy. He loves Sportacus and I think that this might be one of the contributing factors to why he goes to gymnastics every week. The Fit Fruits cartons provide your kids with one of their five a day and come in three flavours; apple and blackcurrant, lemon and lime and orange and peach. I was pleasantly surprised when I tasted these. They don't taste sickly sweet from artificial sweeteners like other drinks for children do. This is because they are free from artificial flavours, colours, sweeteners and preservatives. They taste like watered down fruit juice. I often add water to my own fruit juice as I find it too sweet otherwise, so I thought these were great. Big man liked them - especially as they had lazy town characters on and we decided to run a competition between them for the best taste. Sprinting into first place was Sportacus' apple and blackcurrant flavour. Closely followed by Robbie Rotton's orange and peach, leaving Stephanie's lemon and lime finishing in a respectable third place.

We were also given some super squashes to trial straight from the development line. These came in apple and raspberry, orange and peach and pink lemonade flavour. These are advised to be kept in the fridge and diluted at a ratio of one part squash to two parts water. Personally I wasn't a fan of the pink lemonade flavour. To me it was reminiscent of the Refreshers drinks that made an appearance in the late 1990's. It was of course big man's preferred flavour of the super squashes.
