The Gallery - The Everyday

When Tara said that the theme for the gallery this week was The Everyday it required some thought. The aim is to show photos that aren't played around with or cropped, not posed. I then thought back to my wedding. On the day there were millions of posed shots with various groups of people, but the best shots of all were taken at the wedding breakfast when people didn't even know they were having their photo taken. Here is one of me and my husband at the wedding breakfast. I am playing with the confetti on the table. So it isn't posed, but not exactly an everyday occasion......

So I thought I would take some of my boys. No asking them to look this way. No "Say cheese!" No middle man will you stay still for just one minute. These are photos they didn't know I was taking, and some that I didn't even know I had taken until I looked through for this post - The Everyday.

My boys all playing nicely. It doesn't always feel as though they do this everyday.

How I kept my cool and grabbed the camera rather than screaming about the mess that middle man had created I am not sure.

I would normally have disregarded this picture, because in the split second that I took it my Mum wasn't smiling. But the smile on big man's face is absolutely beautiful and shows how much he loves and enjoys playing with his Nanny.

Now all I need to do is not to repeat last weeks mistake and link it correctly to The Gallery.

There was one where it looked as though we were having our first married argument!
