Chilli, Tomato and Prawn Pasta and a Degustabox Review

Another month and another Degustabox. On the whole I was happy with the products in this month's box, although there are a few items I would never buy. Here are my thoughts on the products we received.

Dr Oetker Mug Cakes: I was so excited about these. I have made mug cakes myself and been a bit disappointed so I hoped these would be good. I am sad to say I was disappointed. Maybe mug cakes just aren't for me.

Bahlsen: We loved these. I liked the Pick Up! Dark Chocolate as they were individually wrapped. My boys really liked the Choco Leibniz White.

Walkers: These biscuits are handy to pop in your bag so the children can have a treat when you are out and about.

Life Tonics: I am not a fan of coconut water and only use this kind of product in a smoothie. Not something I would purchase myself.

Williamson Tea: Again I prefer English Breakfast tea but this was nice enough.

Barilla: Penne Rigate: I am no pasta expert. It was nice and I would purchase it if it was on offer.
Arriabbiata Sauce: Really enjoyable pasta sauce.

Ryvita: These were nice and good as I am trying to eat lighter lunches.

Delicious Alchemy: Lovely tasting cookies that are simple to make and are gluten and dairy free. Well mine weren't dairy free, but you can make them that way.

If you would like to try Degustabox, then I have a discount code:CWKSI which will give you a £3 discount on your first box.

What would you like to try most from the box?

Chilli, tomato and prawn Pasta

6oz dried pasta. I used Barilla Penne Rigate
240g frozen prawns (defrosted)
Half a jar of chilli and tomato sauce. I used Barilla Arrabbiata
2 cubes of frozen spinach
chilli oil
2 cloves of garlic chopped
1cm cube of garlic chopped
1 tomato chopped.

Start my heating your pasta in a pan of salted water. Add the spinach and cook with the pasta.

Fry the prawns, garlic and ginger in some chilli oil. Add the fresh tomatoes once the prawns are nearly cooked.
Drain the pasta and spinach.

Add the pasta and spinach to the prawns.

Add half a jar of the arrabbiata sauce and mix through,

Enjoy!
