Ingredients for the chocolate cakes (makes 12)
1oz cocoa powder
4oz self raising flour
4oz golden caster sugar
2 medium free range eggs
4oz melted butter
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl
Spoon into 12 fairy cake cases
Cook at 180C for 12-15 minutes.
For the topping mix:
A tablespoon of filtered coffee. I used the left over in my cafetiere from my morning coffee.
1oz softened butter
Add icing sugar to get desired consistency.
Top with half a walnut.
Yum! I do like the dark brown cake cases too - they set off the cakes really well.
