World Cup Pizza Party

dominos pizza boxes

This weekend I invited some friends over to watch the England match and enjoy the limited addition Carnivale range from Domino's Pizza. Then I realised that the game was at 11 o'clock. Time differences confuse me! So instead we watched Columbia V Greece. As the weather had turned slightly we had a quick game of table football rather than a kick around.

I love that take away pizzas are so easy when you have a party. I ordered everything in the morning and the delivery driver turned up on time with all our food ready to eat. So what is on the new menu?

There are two limited addition pizzas. First is the Fiesta which has chicken breast strips, red onions, red and green peppers, fajita spice and a Mojito dressing. Second is the Rio which has pulled Barbacoa Beef, chipotle sauce, red onions, green and red peppers. Ours also had the Mojito dressing which I don't think was meant to be on it but it was the first day of the new menu so maybe the guys had just got a bit over excited by this tangy lime mayonaisse. I was really excited by the Rio pizza on paper but when they came, the Fiesta had an extra kick to it and got my vote.

We were able to have a Footy Fan deal which included wedges, and we chose one normal (for the kids) and one Fajita wedges for the adults. Nachos completed the Carnivale menu. I was initially disappointed as these were burnt around the edges, but they still tasted good!

We had a great time and the pizza helped keep the smaller ones quiet so the football could be enjoyed. Even if your team don't win (or like me you arrange to see a totally different match) friends + Domino's Pizza = a winning combination.

We were given the pizzas for the purpose of this review but the opinions contained here are my own.

Sounds like a lovely evening was had by all, the pizzas sound delicious. Just a shame the nearest domino's is 40 minutes away!
