Twinkl Create App

We have blogged about the Twinkl website before. It is a wealth of resources for pre school and primary aged children.

TWINKL CREATE is an app integrated into the Twinkl website (for premium subscription users) where users can create their own resources using the Twinkl imagery and designs. Users simply select a template, add a border, insert their desired text, add images and create!

Whilst Twinkl Create is probably more useful to a teacher than a parent, if you are a parent with the premium subscription then you can take advantage of the app to make personalised flashcards or memory games.

It does take a little time to get used to using the app, but I have created a couple of personalised word lists for middle man. I was able to chose the pre cursive writing which is what he will be learning when he goes to school in September. He recently had the pre school bear for the weekend, so I printed off titles of the main things we did over the weekend.

He was then able to trace over the letters.

He then told me about each of his pictures and I wrote it down for him.

If I had my own laminator (which I think I am going to have to invest in) I would have made him some laminated lists for him to use with a dry wipe marker.

If you haven't heard of Twinkl before, I highly recommend the site for anyone with young children, with many of the resources being free of charge. As you may have noticed middle man is left handed so if you have any good tips on how to help him with his writing I would love to know.

We were given access to the platinum subscription service for the purpose of this review but the opinions contained here are my own.

I have heard of Twinkl, but never seem to get round to exploring over there. Thanks for the reminder and the nudge as it looks really good.

The scissor skills and role play stuff is fab. Came in very handy when I had to make a box into a rocket at Easter!
