Christmas Books Review

Well we are now in December so I think it is perfectly fine to put up the Christmas tree and read some festive books with the children. Top hat publishing kindly sent us two Christmas books to review.

First is a felt book called Fuzzy Christmas. Middle man (aged 3) has really enjoyed this. You are encouraged to select certain pictures and then stick them on the felt scene. I like this idea as it can be reused a following year. I know you can get sticker books like this but the stickers never last that long. Felt is a much better alternative providing you put the pieces back in the plastic container at the top.

The second book is When I dream of Christmas. I didn't really know what to make of this book at first. The idea is that it sums up the key events of Christmas. I had a quick look through and thankfully the birth of Jesus was there alongside sledging and penguins playing in the snow! I think the best way to describe this book is as a light hearted take on Christmas. It has some beautiful illustrations with some funny descriptions and ended up making me and big man giggle.

We were given the books for the purpose of this review but the opinions here are my own.
