The Gallery: Through the eyes of my phone

This weeks Gallery theme is "through the eyes of my phone" I take loads of photos on my phone. You can generally tell if I'm a bit bored as there will be lots on my instagram feed.

I take pictures of my boys, the odd pretty flower, and if I'm out and about in a shop and see a toy that I think the boy's might like, I snap a photo. I can then bring it home to show my husband so that he can tell me that they don't need anymore toys. I also take the odd selfie. Most of which I never upload to twitter, facebook or instagram because I look awful. I mainly do it to pass some time and see what I look like. Yes I know there is an old fashioned thing called a mirror that I could use, but with instagram you can play with filters in a hope it will make you look slightly better.

It is with regret that the last selfie I took is photo (and yes I have cropped it and used a filter in a effort to make it look better!)

Last year, my brother and sister in law likened me to Sarah Millican. I wasn't that overjoyed because as lovely as Sarah is, I would have rather been likened to a 20 year old model. (I know, I know it was never going to happen was it?) So on Friday when she was on the TV I took a photo of myself next to Sarah. The conclusion? If I straighten my hair and have an inch cut off, I may have a career as a celebrity double!

So who do you look like, or who do people say you look like? Are you in need of a Sarah Millican look a like in the Berkshire area? I'm afraid to say I can't do a Geordie accent and I'm not that funny.

  2. Ha ha, love it! I was watching her the other night and thought exactly the same....only you're better looking (shhh, don't tell sarah!). I've regularly been stopped in the street to be told I look like Sandra Bullock - now that made me happy! I mentioned it to my kids the other day who thought the idea was simply ridiculous!

You do look like Sandra - can you play music on wine glasses as your party trick?
