We first came across the Barney bear cakes on our little adventure to the
Lollibop. Yummy cake with a hidden soft filling that is individually wrapped. What's there not to like? A few weeks ago we set off on our little adventure to the coast. Our first caravan holiday. We packed a few Barny bears too for a little treat.
The moment we arrived at our caravan the boy's eyes lit up. I'm not sure what it is, but there is something more exciting about having your own caravan for a wet and windy weekend in Weymouth, than a hotel in sunny
Mallorca! Maybe it was the fact that big man could fit in a cupboard!?!
After last summer's delights of
Wenlock spotting, we couldn't believe our luck when we found this Mandeville!
We weren't going to let the weather stop us from going to the beach. The boy's identified shells
and dug for treasure
We also went on a treasure hunt (a.k.a
geochaching.) We got distracted by the playground
and then it started getting late. The boys had their Barney Bears. I would show you a photo of them eating them but by the time I got the camera out they had
vanished!
So we headed back to our caravan for tea.
This post is an entry for BritMums ‘Little Adventures Challenge’ in partnership with Barny, the bear-shaped snack providing a little discovery in every bite. Find out more about Barny here I was too late in applying to receive the Barney samples. They were on offer in Tescos so I bought my own, as I would love to have a go at camping at Featherdown farm which is the first prize for this competition. All opinions on the tastiness of the Barney Bears are my own.
my kids love those barney bears. Looks like a lot of fun!
