I can't believe the summer holidays are nearly at an end. I meet it with to mixed emotions. I love having the boys at home, but I find it challenging at times, having to entertain the different ages. Given their own way, big man would have spent the summer holidays watching Spongebob and playing computer games. Middle man would have spent it watching Swashbuckle on repeat play (Oh hang on a minute that's what he did!) Baby man is the easiest to please as he is generally happy trying to join in with whatever the older two are doing. Unfortunately, the older two are less keen on him doing this. When all gets too much we head outside. A few weeks ago we headed to the park. Middle man was absolutely adamant that he wanted to walk rather than take his scooter. That was until we were half way to the park where he was absolutely adamant that he wanted his scooter. Our trip to the park ended in meltdown with middle man sitting on a bench shouting
"Everything is ruined! Ruined I tell ya!"
Then just as I was at the end of my tether
"Mummy I love you, I love you all the time!"My heart melted.
"And I love you middle man. I love you all the time."
Do your little ones have you wrapped around their little finger like middle man has me?
My little men most definitely have me wrapped around their little fingers!
ReplyDeleteGlad it's not just me x
