A Celebration Fit For My Princes

As you may have already worked out, my boys like any excuse for a party. As I said yesterday, the only way to get middle man interested in a baby is to have cake! What better excuse for a party than the birth of a future king of Britain? So yesterday we spent the day celebrating the birth of the Prince George with crafting, cakes and a glow in the dark party.

I have never made scones before, but found them in the DK baking book so the boys helped bake them too. There was a lot of tasting and a lot of flour!

We made bunting, crowns and iced cupcakes. Then took them outside to have a little tea party.

After having a short break for big man's last gymnastic class, we headed back to party some more.

And the best part of the day? Middle man asking "Queen Mummy, where is your crown?"

Have you had a celebration for the new prince? If so Lauren has a linky open that you can join up on.

The baking book, party poppers, led bowl (that is on the fireplace) glow sticks and Prince William mask were 5 of the things we bought with our 99p stores £10 blogging challenge voucher.

The boys looked like they had so much fun and I hope the scones turned out well?
