In the last few days this is what I have found.
The only problem is that I am a forgetful Mummy. I may have a photo of baby man putting things in the machine, but I am not sure if I took it all out before I put the wash in! I suspect that half a green egg shell is whirling around my washing machine as we speak!
What is the strangest thing that you have found in your washing machine. Do your children stick things in their pockets and you find them in when it's too late? Big man thinks that baby man just wants to clean his toys, but I am not sure how that explains the small piece of sandwich that is there with the plastic potato!
That happens here SO much!! Z is completely obsessed with the washing machine and I've found so much in there including our shovel and brush, his dummies, his toys, books, letters, all the clothes from our wash basket (I like this one!!) and food!
ReplyDeleteI'm forever finding money, Lego and hairbobbles in ours. I even had a £50 callout charge once to clear the drainage pipe of plastic Disney princess rings!

DeleteI've had many hair bobbles and clips in there plus a few fridge magnets over the years. No food or toys though in many years thankfully! x
ReplyDeleteI have a little tub by mine for all the random hair clips, stationery, stones etc I sometimes remember to remove before the washing.
ReplyDeletemy 2.5yr old has done this for so long, I can relate! She loves to fill the washing machine with dirty clothes before I have had a chance to empty the clean clothes but I do love it all, she is "helping" and she loves it too xx

ReplyDeleteThe most random thing I've ever had is an inflated balloon. How I got a load of washing in there without noticing it I will never know. Naturally it burst during the wash and I called an engineer out thinking my washing machine had exploded. It was very embarrassing when he pulled out a pink shrivelled balloon!!
